News from Fermoeditore, the book The sun and the snow written by Luigi Alfieri and images by Henry Strong, will be presented at the Museum of Ettore Guatelli Ozzano Taro (PR) 30th September, 2012 at 5 pm.
Museum of the everyday life, the Guatelli speaks of the living conditions of workers through the poetry of objects arranged spectacularly on the walls. With its objects “scrapped”, the collection documents the Italy of the last fifty years, torn between the desire to forget the past and research of its historical identity. The events of the museum intertwined with the personal history of the author, born in the early twenties and became an elementary school teacher in the early postwar years, after several misadventures.
Location chosen for the particular agreement with the proposed project, a party in the yard at the Guatelli Museum was organised for the occasion, with “fried cake”, Lambrusco and salami for all participants, with the accompaniment of accordion by Corrado Medioli.
Paul Briganti will discuss the book with author Louis Alfieri, the publisher Fermo Tanzi and the artist Enrico Robusti.
An hour before the show, or at 4 pm, you can visit the incredible Forest of things and the exhibition of pictures in the book and his creative, open throughout the first week of October.
